Browse by district

Each district lists its neighbourhoods, residential and commercial properties and four inspection types. Neighbourhood pages show properties whose address explicitly names that neighbourhood.

Hong Kong Island

Many Hong Kong Island units sit on slopes or are stair-access only. Tell us about lifts and walk-up floors when booking so any stair fee can be confirmed.

Kowloon

Kowloon includes many walk-ups and commercial buildings. Confirm access hours, goods-lift use and visitor registration with management or the owner in advance.

New Territories

Some New Territories locations, such as Ma Wan, carry a remote-area fee. Give the full address when booking so the fee can be confirmed.

FAQ

Booking questions

What should I provide for an inspection at Hong Kong units?

Provide the complete building, phase/block, floor and unit, usable floor area and preferred date. Explain the handover or renovation stage, utilities and access permission.

How can I search if I know the estate but not its neighbourhood?

Use the residential or commercial directory to search by Chinese or English name or address, then narrow by district. Check the street number, phase, block and unit and send the usable area and handover status with your enquiry.

Do residential and commercial units use the same pricing basis?

Yes. Both use usable-floor-area pricing and the same unit-inspection items. For commercial units, also provide the use, tenant-access arrangements and operable installations; shared building systems are not treated as unit equipment.

How is the inspection fee calculated for Hong Kong units?

The fee uses HK$4.5 per sq ft of usable floor area with area-tier minimum charges. Stairs cost HK$80 per floor; applicable location and optional water-jet test fees are separate. Send the full address to confirm the total quote.

When will I receive the report, and does it include photos?

The electronic report is normally issued on the next business day. It records issue locations and inspection results without photos. Owners follow up rectification with the developer or contractor; a separately booked reinspection is chargeable.
