OPO Inspection is a member of the OPO Expert Group, providing new, second-hand, old property and post-renovation inspection services for Hong Kong owners.
Neutral, meticulous, clear explanations
Buying a property is often a family's largest expense. On the day of handover, owners are faced with an unfamiliar unit, a time-limited defect rectification list, and many areas where they do not know what to look for.
Our job is to systematically inspect visible and accessible items within the unit using professional tools, explain them to you on-site, and compile them into an electronic report, giving you a clear basis to follow up with the developer or contractor.
We will also clearly state our inspection scope: property inspection is not a statutory structural inspection, and we will not make commitments beyond the scope of our inspection.
How we work
How work is connected from enquiry to report
We explain our company background, on-site work, and the purpose of the report separately to make it easy for you to understand the arrangements after booking.
Enquiry and Booking
First, understand the unit type, size, date, and on-site conditions. After verifying the quotation and service scope, confirm the booking and payment arrangements.
On-site Inspection and Explanation
Inspect items visible and accessible on the day, record problem locations, and explain observations and limitations where inspection was not possible. Circles and text on photos are added via mobile phone after photographing; we do not draw on the unit's surfaces.
Report and Follow-up Enquiries
An electronic report without photos will record the locations of problems and inspection results. If you have any questions about the content, please contact us; repairs are followed up by the owner with the relevant party, and additional reinspection requires prior confirmation of scope and fees.
